This project explored the interplay of circulation, light, and sound within architectural space. A key strength that emerged during the design process was the development of a clear and dynamic circulation path, which organically guided users through two distinct spatial zones. These zones offered occupants varied experiences, encouraging interaction with the building in multiple ways.

While the project demonstrated strong conceptual clarity, challenges arose in areas where circulation became constrained, limiting the fluidity of movement. Feedback from critic Martin Schwartz emphasized the need to simplify the integration of complex elements such as light and sound. His insights highlighted that the design, though ambitious, risked becoming overly intricate for its intended purpose. He also noted the effectiveness of the restrained rendering approach, which allowed the architectural ideas to remain at the forefront.

The lessons learned from this project continue to shape my design approach. I now place greater emphasis on balancing complexity with functionality, using light, sound, and texture as tools to enhance spatial experience without overwhelming it. This project reinforced the importance of cohesion, clarity, and user engagement—principles that will inform my future architectural work.
